Frequently Asked Questions About Our Testing Kits
Our test kits can only be ordered by licensed medical practitioners in the United States. Kits cannot be ordered by individuals or by businesses. Patients and businesses should seek testing from licensed medical professionals in their area. Our kits are sent to facilities nationwide including but not limited to:

Once we have received the sample via mail, our team will process the data over the next 24-48 hours. The report will be available via the Physician Portal and a fax copy will be sent to the office. Physicians will be notified whether their patient tested positively or negatively for SARS-CoV-2.
TruGenX uses PCR (polymerase chain reaction) testing because it provides the fastest and most accurate results. TruGenX also provides Respiratory Pathogen testing that tests for a variety of common bacteria and viruses including influenza, other forms of coronavirus, and pneumonia. If a COVID-19 test comes back negative, we can send a respiratory pathogen test to your facility to gain more insight on potential disease your patient may be experiencing.
TruGenX will reject any tests that will not provide accurate results. If a test has become contaminated, we will request a new test. Here are a few reasons that would result in a test being rejected:
- Materials: Swabs contain calcium alginate, cotton tips, or wooden shafts will be rejected
- Labeling: Samples that are improperly labeled will be rejected
- Damage/Contamination: Samples that are contaminated will be rejected
